Stamford Family Therapy offers a therapeutic environment which fosters self healing through helping the client identify and implement the tools available to enhance their lives.

Deena gained immeasurable experience while a therapist, and eventually as program director of the Level III schizophrenic program at Hall-Brooke Hospital in the '90s, and then during her tenure in the early 2000s at Silver Hill Hospital. These experiences enabled her to quickly diagnose patients and help them commence their quest toward obtaining the tools to heal and move forward.

Deena has treated people suffering from issues relating to : Abortion, Sexual Abuse, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Adjusting to Change, Adoption, Anger/Irritability, Anxiety and Worry, Attachment Issues, Bipolar, Caregiver Stress, Communication Problems, Depression, Divorce, Marital Discord, Teen Angst, Domestic Violence/Emotional Abuse, Addiction, Eating Disorders, Family Problems, Grief, Loss, & Bereavement, Health and Illness, Infertility, Infidelity, Isolation, Menopause, Midlife Challenges, Mood Swings, Obsessions and Compulsions, Postpartum Depression and Suicidal Ideation.

In 2013 Deena completed the State of Connecticut Guardian Ad Litem Program, garnering even further insight into assisting parents and children through the divorce and post divorce process.
